The colours of the south

One of the most fascinating things in Italy are the colours: the people and the nature are daring to use colours all the time.What a caleidoscope!

Locomotion and serenity

This is a composition of old and new, of modern and eternal elememts: The olive tree and the motorway. In Liguria they have lots of meetings.

Old walls

The old walls have along history, dating back to the middle age.

The sanctuary

The Sanctuary of Lampedusa, situated near Castellaro, is one of the old magic places, occupied by the Church.It is delicated to the sea, even so it is situated in the mountain. It was founded by a Captain who was saved from severe distress at sea.

slow by slow I approached the Sanctuary of Lampedusa in a foot walk.

Magic Liguria

OK;back to the time in Italy. My favorite church with the view far over the sea: Maria de la Guardia. I could not stay away from this place.

Autumn on the Autobahn

Why do we always wait for a "lyric" or traditional topic? This is a modern subject: locomotion!

Sorry for leaving the blog for over two weeks. I was on a short trip to Italy. Here some impressions. You know already, my favourite is Liguria. I call it "magic Liguria". By the way: the motherland of the focaccia (-:, you know?

Pure chemistry (- :

Indian Summer even in the town...ok, I admit, even if it is caused by carotin reactions, it is something for the heart: The feeling of warmth and pure light, before the cold, grey, rainy season catches us.

Back home

Well, in the end, after one day in the deep magic forest, I enjoyed to ride my car back home, buy some bread rolls and milk and to live my urban life, while it was getting dark, wet and scary in the wood.

Against all pinciples

In the end, I woundered weather what I saw was on earth or far away on e deserted planet. I even forgott to photograph with colour.

The day of the monument

At the day of the monument, all castles and otherwise hidden monuments are open to the publik. This is the old castlegarden of Schloss Benrath.

Drum and Organ

 

Yesterday I had a very special experience.Japanese drums in a church. Playing alternating with the organ. Both, drums and organs are very mighty instruments, playing loud and intensevly, making your stomach vibrating. At first, the instruments played "against each other", but in the end, they played together. That was marvelous, just if as hell and heaven were marchíng together. The name of the group playing the drums was WADOKYO, and the organ was played by cantor and organist Jens Peter Enk, a great artist.What a wounderfull evening!
