Cattle Market

This is once again a overworked photo from my mobilephone. As I found out, these "bad" photos with a low amount of pixel are easier to transfirm into a "painted" picture than high quality phozos.

Clear2

Well... I don´t want to make tourist promotion for switzerland. But it is difficult, because I love the clear air, the mountains and the magnificenr view there.

Clear ...

If you go to switzerland, everything is clear and clean: sky, water and sun.

The mushroom rule

If you go for mushrooms, there is one important rule: You must not know all, but you must know those you take. The same rule fits for art. You must not master all forms of expression, but you should know those you use.

Boletus edulis

The highlight of a muhroom hunting always is to find a porcino. How do you call them in english/american?

Mushroom Hunting

Maybe yesterday you thought, I´m going crazy, because I wrote about ghosts and speeking stones... and you´re looking for an explanation. Here it ist: In the mountains, I am always hunting mushrooms. I am collecting and eating them. Maybe that´s why I am a little crazy now... (-:

Even the fenceposts get their own life.

suddenly you realise that the stone piles are watching you...

The stupa

Theese stones beside the way have not only a function as a signpost. They are also stupa or mani walls, offerings to the magnificence of the mountains, and efforts to appease the immense power of nature.

magic trees

If you realy watch out, you find hidden life not only in stones, but also in the trees... Maybe this is a an ent or even treebeard himself?

In the end, the stone man turned into a dwarf, protecting the soil, the trees and the flowers.

Becharming2

Of course, as you know me, the becharming is not finished when the photobutton is pressed down. The real work starts later with the pc. Here I show you some ´variations of the same scenery.

On 3000

Dear Friends. For some days I had to work in Switzerland. Of course, my camera was not lazy there. On sunday I even had the chance to go into the mountains. High, very high, at a peak of 3000m. Hard work for an old fellow like me. The streamlined young men with depilated chests were much quicker than I was... But in the end I reached the top of the Piz, with a magnificent visibility. And my walking boots had a chance to cool down and ventilate (-:

My van Gogh bridge

In the little town of Alkmaar I find my personal Van Gogh bridge, still working today. But what a shame today. I was working for three hours on two pictures. Like this, the result is very poor. Sorry.

My bridges

Once again my favorite topic: the big stream and the bridges over them. Here a bridge at Emmerich, neat the boarder between germany and netherlands. The bridge and the river, that are two opposite principles, connecting and seperating, ying and yang if you like.

Night Glow

I am very sorry, because I was not so productive in the blog in the last weeks. So much work... But today there was something special in my town: The night glow. Some dozens of hot-air balloons came into the town and gave a brilliant, coulorfull lightshow.
