My italian street

 

This street´and the houses on both sides were build in 1569! That was the "highway" of the middle age, broad enough to herd the mules, loaded with trade goods, through the street. Today it is too small to have car trafic, but the vespas go through with joy. Besides this type of street also was a shelter against sun, wind and raiders. I think, you still feel the security and the ease of the street...
