I've not seen much on this Momument/Heritage Day. I was not healthy. But one visit I made in the waterworks Bockum. It was built more than 100 years. The solid old technique, thick walls, cast-iron pipes, all for eternity. The biggest part was built underground, a secret world beneath the earth. Everything looked like Fritz Lang's "Metropolis" or Charlie Chaplin in "Modern Times".
I take you on a tour. Only once does the mere documentation, then the alienation, then the associations.
