Here I show you my rejected work in the photography course of the HBK. My topic was macro photography.
Aquí muestro mi trabajo rechazado en el curso de fotografía de la HBK. Mi tema era la fotografía macro.
Hier zeige ich euch meine abgelehnten Arbeiten aus dem Fotografie-Kurs.. Mein Thema war die Makrofotografie.
In the first series, which I´ll show you later, I took fotos of real animals, very small animals. But as these fotos were not sufficient neither, I had to make a new series. But than, in the month of November, there were no real animals any more in the wood. I had to replaced them by small Swarovski figurines. Just because they are transparent, they seemed suitable to me. I see in them the spirit of the forest, the spirit of the animals. They should help, to imagine the real animals.
En la primera serie, que voy a mostrar más adelante, tomé fotos de animales reales, animales muy pequeños. Pero a medida que estas fotos no parecian suficientes, tuve que hacer una nueva serie. Pero que, en el mes de noviembre, no había animales reales más en el bosque, tuve que sustituirarlos por pequeñas estatuillas de Swarovski. El hecho de que son transparentes, que parecía adecuado para mí. Veo en ellos el espíritu de la selva, el espíritu de los animales. Deben ayudar, imaginar los animales reales.
In der ersten Serie, die ich spter zeigen werde, präsentierte ich Fotos von echten Tieren, von sehr kleinen Tiere. Aber weil diese Fotos nicht ausreich3end waren, musste ich eine neue Serie zu machen. AWeil es da aber der Monat Monat November war, waren keine echten Tiere mehr im Wald zu sehen. Ich musste sie durch kleine Swarovski-Figuren ersetzen . Weil sie transparent sind, schienen sie mir geeignet. Ich sehe in ihnen den Geist des Waldes, den Geist der Tiere. Sie sind sozusagen nur Platzhalter, sie sollen helfen, sich die echte Tiere vorzustellen.
But I think the animals of Swarovski are not convenient for everyone. To some people they might appear to be cheesy. Or maybe the pictures are too harmonic, too little dramatic? Anyway, I have made the fotos especially "sweet", because I wanted to show the dream of the animals. Just as every child dreams of the animals in the forest . That means, I show the images of a dream ...
Pero creo que los animales de Swarovski no se conveniant para todos. Para algunas personas podrían parecer cursi. O tal vez las imágenes son demasiado armónicas, demasiado poco dramático? De todos modos, he hecho las fotos especialmente "dulce", porque quería mostrar el sueño de los animales. Así como cada niño sueña con los animales en el bosque. Eso significa, muestro las imágenes de un sueño ...

Aber ich glaube die Tiere von Swarovski sind nicht jedermanns Sache. Manchen erscheinen sie zu kitschig. Oder vielleicht sind die Bilder auch zu harmonisch, zu wenig dramatisch? Ich habe sie jedenfalls bewußt "süß" fotografiert, denn ich wollte den Traum von den Tieren zeigen. So wie jedes Kind von den Tieren des Waldes träumt. Es sind Bilder eines Traumes...
