Symbolic animals

Symbolic animals are runing into the gathered crowd and explode amid the peple, I admit it was a little bit frightening.

test of courage

The young people are dancing this fire dance as a test of courage. It reminds of a Saint, Santa Eulalia, who was tortured with fire.

No corners

It seems as if Gaudi was a scolar of Rudolf Steiner: her rejects corners and prefers all round forms. As if the buidings were flowers.

This crazy archtecture is continued in other places of the town. Everywhere you find works of Antoni Gaudi, here the entrance of the parc Guell.

The very beginning

Here you see the beginning of the works, some decades before. The belltowers look as moon rockets.

Lights on

Do you need any more explanation, why I think that god is light and that light is a devine messenger? I am not very esoteric, but when you see this spendid colurs, you will feel the same.

Parts of the roof

There are strange holes and stars in the ceiling. What might Gaudi have thought by this elements? The direct way to heaven?

Roof

Here you see the works tio build the roof. You can already anticipate the glory of the final work.

Light and darkness are playing a wounderfull game.

God is colour

Just some of the windows and the ceiling are ready, but what is ready, is marvelous. The lights and the colours of those windows, which are finished, are realy breath taking.

The interior

There is just a small path for the visitors inside, the rest is on construction. It seems as if there is enough work still for the next hundred years.
