My street

Good motivs lie nearby.

But now I will be away for some days. Good bye until next week!

Spring messenger

Another spring messanger in my town is the magnolia.

Crossart

A cross art of light show and origami.

Shadows

The shadows of the musicians in a window.

Still life III

On the first look, this still life painting is only beautifull. But on the second view you find elements of violence, piggery and even death. A fine example for a trompe-l'œil.

The black version of still life

Here You see, that I am not the first who had this idea: still life must not always show a nice scenery, a still life picture can also tell a black story, a criminal case.

Still life I

What interested me very much, was a exhibition of still life paintings. You know, I thing still life paintings must tell a real story, it is not sufficient that they are beautifull. This one showed the rests of a wild party, with a broken glass. You can imagine much more...

After midnight

All people were already a bit tired, but the music helped to feel fine.

Pictures and music

This is also crossart: A mix of music and pictures, served on the rocks with a coke.

Music in the air

After all this art stress, people had to relax. What could be better than to relax with music?

Die Morphogenese der Falte

This was a lovely exhebition title: the morphogenese of the plait.

Critics

We all are critics and experts... the enemy is in us.(-:

Night of the Museum experts

All the experts and art critics were studying...

Salvatore Dali

Even Salvatore Dali was present with his cocktail jacked.

Gone wrong..

This picture seemed to go wrong, the head of the baby does not really fit to the age of the body... that´s realy a balm for us. We can make little mistake in our pictures too. When will we have the first blog-museum?

Eye catcher

The eye is caught...

The night of the museums VII

You probably understand what this art plastic wants to be: an eye catcher.

The night of the museums VI

Inside the museums it even got "worse". Much work for my camera.

The night of the museums V

Here the rough version of the same scenery.

The night of the museums IV

If light meets water, that shows the wonder of duplication.

The night of the museums III

Scupture and wall.

Night of the museums II

For a light-seeker like me, that night was a big pleasure, it waited for me.

The night of the museums I

Some days ago, there was a special night in town. All museums were open till long after midnight.

Full moon

The moon wanders around and makes us ... feeling strange... thinking of detective stories. Nevertheless, he was the first spotlight for mankind.

Night life is Night light

The form is nothing, the light is all.

Nightlife

Well, after this excursion to real life, I come back to art and painting. But they sticks together. When the weather is fine, I like to go out, even by night. You remember? The night lights of the city, a big subjekt. I came to this theme after being fascinated of a Hopper Exposition.

My balcony

I like flowers to be around.

Flowers everywhere

Suddenly, for about three weeks, there are flowers everywhere. Later on, in summer, it is not so spectacular.

Japanese Cherries II

The blooms are so powerfull and fertile, but they never wear fruits.

Japanese Cherries

The japanese Cherries always are the first messengers of spring.

Spring

I read in the newspaper, how a student from a tropic country decribed his feeling of becoming acquinted with germany: For the first time he felt the desire, that spring, green leafs and flowers should come.

Spring im my town

At last, after many ugly month of rain, cold and wind... spring is coming.

Italian Impressions XII

Dawn at the seaside...

Here you find an example for my picture-philosophy. A normal photographer would tear his hairs because the details are not "pin sharp". Normally people think since 1839, that is the advantage of photography is the image sharpness. So, the result is, that normally we have too much details on the photo, too many confusing details, too many items, which hinder us to see the main structures of the view or of the thing on the picture.

My "cetero censeo" is to reduce. Reduce image sharpness, wipe away uninportant details which are on the picture just by chance, reduce colours if necessary. Cut out all parts of the picture, which are not important for emotion, cut away all parts which are "empty", without life.

What is important on this picture: earth, sea and heaven, some houses. And first of all, the warm evening light. So I reduced the photo as long, until there is nothing to see than these elements. Heaven and sea merge into one colour, sand and sun just the same. The church and the house give shelter for the coming night...

Italian Impressions XI

Last winter settings

I end the blog session today with a special greeting to all, who still have winter... and a special greeting to... see above.

Morning in Bhaktapur II

Hope you can "smell" the dust and the sunrise...

Morning in Bhaktapur I

A normal photo has much too much details. Different forms and colours, which don´t fit together. Reduce both, form and colour, and you will see the "feeling" of the picture. Here the feeling is the mystery of a very old and holy place in Bhaktapur.
