As in fairy tales..

As in dreams or fairy tales, the trees are speaking to us.

Fire worm

The fallen tree is becoming a fire worm full of life, full of secret signs.

tree-eyes

The old rotten tree is getting a new canvas. And the tree bark is changing into a face.

Art and Nature

Some days ago, I saw a new idea to combine art and nature.

Enjoy! Disfrutar!

Here I admit, I have stolen an old window of Andeas Gurski, the famous german photographer. But I is arranged in a completely new way, as a homage. If you want to enjoy it, click on the photo to enlarge it.

Mixture

This is pure light with some holiday picture, but it give somethimg new.

Pure light

My idea tonight: Mix pure light with some details. It make a new sense.

Do you know the artist Heinz Mack?

Heinz Mack ist a member of the ZERO Group in Düsseldorf. His games of pure light inspire me a lot-

The rhine / El río Rhin

Now we have the first warm days and it is time to go out. Outside, at the riverside of the rhine, you can feel the first slight feelings of spring.

hard to breathe

All the fire and smoke makes it hard to breathe, but people seem to like it. Even the vistor comes into some kind of trance or delirious state...

If you want to join this state, i just invite you to click on the photos in oder to enlarge them.

No escape

In the end, the central square and all the streets around are full of these firecrackers and firedancers.
Posted by Picasa

Firedevils 2

The fire devils come from all sides, you just stick in the middle of them.
Posted by Picasa

Attention

You have to pay attention, that your clothes dont catch fire.
Posted by Picasa

Symbolic animals

Symbolic animals are runing into the gathered crowd and explode amid the peple, I admit it was a little bit frightening.
Posted by Picasa

firedevils

Many people also disguise as devils, red firedevils.
Posted by Picasa

test of courage

The young people are dancing this fire dance as a test of courage. It reminds of a Saint, Santa Eulalia, who was tortured with fire.
Posted by Picasa

Sparks

We all have the image of people dancing in the rain, here peple are dancing in the sparks of fire.
Posted by Picasa

Firedances

than you hear firecrackers and you see people in jerking motion.

Surprise

Suddely there were cries in the night, coloured fogs and torches, at first it seems as a bomb attac.

A young town

Barcelona is a young town, many tourists and students.
Posted by Picasa

Self portrait

Once again a crazy house, la casa Vincente. By the way, do you find me?
Posted by Picasa

Carneval everywhere

Barcelona is a city of colours, here again in the carneval masks you find nearly the colours as in the Sagrada Familia.
Posted by Picasa

No corners

It seems as if Gaudi was a scolar of Rudolf Steiner: her rejects corners and prefers all round forms. As if the buidings were flowers.
Posted by Picasa

cloister courtyard

This is not Gaudi, this is the cloister courtyard of the central cathedral. But still impressing.
Posted by Picasa

Near the sea

From the parc Guell you ´have a great view over the town. The mediteranean sea is always nearby.
Posted by Picasa

Parc Guell

This crazy archtecture is continued in other places of the town. Everywhere you find works of Antoni Gaudi, here the entrance of the parc Guell.
Posted by Picasa

The very beginning

Here you see the beginning of the works, some decades before. The belltowers look as moon rockets.
Posted by Picasa

Outside

...all this, while outside works are not finished by far.
Posted by Picasa

Lights on

Do you need any more explanation, why I think that god is light and that light is a devine messenger? I am not very esoteric, but when you see this spendid colurs, you will feel the same.
Posted by Picasa

Parts of the roof

There are strange holes and stars in the ceiling. What might Gaudi have thought by this elements? The direct way to heaven?
Posted by Picasa

Roof

Here you see the works tio build the roof. You can already anticipate the glory of the final work.
Posted by Picasa

Light and darkness

Light and darkness are playing a wounderfull game.
Posted by Picasa

God is colour

Just some of the windows and the ceiling are ready, but what is ready, is marvelous. The lights and the colours of those windows, which are finished, are realy breath taking.
Posted by Picasa

The interior

There is just a small path for the visitors inside, the rest is on construction. It seems as if there is enough work still for the next hundred years.
Posted by Picasa

under construction

The interior of the church still is a big construction site.
Posted by Picasa

Over 100 years of construction

What I had not realised before was, that people are working on the construction of this church already for over hundert years.
Posted by Picasa

La Sagrada Familia

The most impressing example of this architectural wonder is the new cathedral "La Sagrada Familia", planed by Antoni Gaudi.
Posted by Picasa

Old and new II

Here again, you see this crazy mixture. The new buildings are mirroring the old...
Posted by Picasa

Crazy town

What is realy striking in Barcelona is this crazy mixture of old and new.
Posted by Picasa

Spring

Even though my visit was in February, there was some feeling of spring.
Posted by Picasa

Good ideas

They have simple but impressing ideas.

The youngest

Especially the youngest have much fun.

Young and old

Young and old were very engaged, the scholars see to prepare a good part of the show.
Posted by Picasa

Carneval in Barcelona

I was realy astonisched to hear music in the streets and to see disguised people. They have some kind of carneval there, not so big and so loud as in Rio or Cologne, but very colourfull too.

Or better suicide?

On the public floor I found this pistol. Tried to raise it, but it was too heavy. Later I found out, this was Art. Pure art. Art helps us to forget all miseries. Show you more about that next week.

It hurts

Many people are seriously wounded by by bancrot or lost funds. It´s time to show the wounds...

Bank Crash

Oh shit, my blog is not up todate. I spent too much time with other things... and there was no comment from my side... excuse. I´ll catch up many important themes now. Such as the bank crisis. Do you see, nobody has the time to clean the windows of the DEUTSCHE BANK for example (-:

So many hopes..

So many hopes in the new year. We all saw the the Obama inauguration and everyone beleaves, it just can get better. Let´s see. Anyway, the situation after eight years of Bush administration is very well expressed by this view in a fashion shop. America really was "out" for a long time. In that way, Bush was a very sussessful president, no one managed to zoom down a superpower in a shorter time, with arrogance, fumamentalis dogmatism and blindness. We really wonder how this will change now. In any case, the new President is a very sympathic man. May be America will be "in" again.

Di gracias y llevarla a cabo
Sin mucha preocupación.

Cada regalo fue bien acogido,
Pero, sobre todas las cosas:

Espero que tenga éxito.

Happy New Year II

So this is my very private translation of the Wilhelm Busch poem:

At New Year

If the fortune has in mind
to give you something good,
Say thanks and take it in your hand
Without too much concerns.

Each gift will be welcomed,
But above all things:
what you heart realy seeks,
I hope you will succeed.

Happy New Year!

Das, worum du dich bemühst,
Möge dir gelingen.

Que los caleidoscopes nos dicen/ what the kaleidoscopes tell us

What does the kaleidoscope tell us? It tells us, that sometimes it is difficult to say, what is real and what is not real. And it tells us, that the difference between real and unreal is not always important. Important is only one thing: beauty. I just see it this way with pictures and photos. There is no need to make real photos. The only thing of importance is their beauty.

Deep walk into the Kaleidoscope

Some days ago I met an artist who produced thousands of kaleidoscopes. But I had forgotten my camera. With a sudden inspiration I took my mobile phone with the simple camera, directed this camera to the hole of the caleidoscope and pressed the button... I was really astonished how far my mobile camera could crounch into the kaleidoscope, what a wonderfull world!

Harmony / armonia

I really wonder how long we will have such places near the town, where you really feel free, in harmony with nature. I once read a science fiction story of Stanilaw Lem, where 90% of the earth were covered with towns. I enjoy not to live in that time.

Winter creates a perfect church of snow and frost.

The feeling of night and snow / La sensación de la noche y la nieve

It is difficult to make good photos of such an event, because it is dark outside and you have no natural light, just flash and citylights. But snow in darkness, that is a very impressing feeling. You feel like the stoneage man and you just want to got home to your cave, to be saved. Excuse me for showing pictures of such a bad quality and with so little artistic spirit. Today, that was not my aim. I just wanted to give you the feeling, the feeling of night and snow.

A very special effect is to bee seen, when the wind throws the snow with high speed against the trees and all branches are like coated with snow, like rime.

The mixture of night and snow / La mezcla de noche y nieve

Very special are the relfections of the lights in the snow. The snow very soon beginns to gloom in all lights of the city, red blue and yellow.

End of the world / Fin del mundo

When heavy snowfalls beginn, you have the feeling of "end of the world". Everything gets very quiet, the snow sucks all noises. And the snow falls so dense, that you can hardly rise your eyes to look into the dark sky.

Not very cold but impression

It was not very cold nor dangerous. But it was very impressing how, within the time of a half hour, we had twenty centimeters of snow everywhere.

Snowstorm. Some of my good internet friends told me, that they have never seen snow, or very rarely. Not in Finland of course, there is enough experience with snow (-:, but in middle and south america, those frieds will never have the experience to be in a snowstorm. They can not imagine, how snow feels like. So I decided to show some snow pictures. Some days ago we had real snowstorm...

gypsy-heart said...

Your snow photos are beautiful!! I dare say, I would not come out of my cave if I lived there!! :O Well, maybe once in a while to experience the beauty of it all. Thank you so much for sharing your winter world.

The artist himself / La persona y su obra

In the end I want to show you the artist. You will not see him very clear. That´s what I think: the personality of the artist recindes behind his oeuvre.

Homage V

Some of his painting callenge to mix them and to produce something new in the same stile.

Homage a Lütthi IV

Sometimes, the artist Lütthi wants to transport a political idea. Then the makes a collage of photos.

Also the photos, the artist uses, have the quality of paintings. Here, one again, the place called The Dingo, probably a holy place of the dreamtime.

Landscapes / Paisajes of /de Lütthi

When I see this horizon, it reminds me of the lilliput feeling in the mountains (see below). To be alone in a desert must be the same feeling as alone in front of a big mountain.

Often he uses earth colours. May be he got it by his aboriginal friend, the painter JOHN MAWURNDJUL.

http://www.illustres-inconnus.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=503&sid=566063231c6cd290081a63fd07fae8a6

A menudo utiliza colores tierra.

Colours of the moon. A place called THE DINGO

He lived for a long time in Australia. There he must have learned his love for colours. The Red of the earth and the blue shade of brown and blue, when the moon comes.

Homage à Berhard Lütthi I

He combines photos and colours. The colours help to feel the vibrations of the picture. This is not a original, he inspired me to play with the colours as well.

Homage a un Mago / to the Magician

Today I want to to take you to a vernisage. It was the exhebition of a swiss artist, living in Germany. His name is Bernhard Lütthi. He is a soul brother, a magician of colours.

Mare e monte

Mare e monte is not only the name of a famous dish in Liguria, it is the program of the regio...

Rural sites

...as the old villages, the mountains, the olive groves and the snugly cafées.

Liguria has both...

That is why I love this part of Italy. If the weather is fine, you go to the seaside. If it is less good, you can go to the rural places in the mountains. I love the seaside with hightec yachts as well as old fisherboats...

Land and seaside

What is really special in Liguria is the interaction of land and sea. Every bay looks different and the impressions of land mix with the views over the sea.

La festa de la castagna

Im Pompeiana was a nice local festival, the big chestnut party. Some tons of chestnut were roasted over the fire, the local fire brigade was playing music, old and young were dancing. I like these local festivities.

The colours of the south

One of the most fascinating things in Italy are the colours: the people and the nature are daring to use colours all the time. What a caleidoscope!

Locomotion and serenity

This is a composition of old and new, of modern and eternal elememts: The olive tree and the motorway. In Liguria they have lots of meetings.

Old walls

The old walls have along history, dating back to the middle age.

The sanctuary

The Sanctuary of Lampedusa, situated near Castellaro, is one of the old magic places, occupied by the Church. It is delicated to the sea, even so it is situated in the mountain. It was founded by a Captain who was saved from severe distress at sea.

The approach to a holy place

slow by slow I approached the Sanctuary of Lampedusa in a foot walk.

Magic Liguria

OK;back to the time in Italy. My favorite church with the view far over the sea: Maria de la Guardia. I could not stay away from this place.

Autumn on the Autobahn

Why do we always wait for a "lyric" or traditional topic? This is a modern subject: locomotion!

Fairy tale land

Oh sorry, before I continue with liguria, first of all I must finish my autumn gallery in the land of mushrooms..

Buona sera!

Sorry for leaving the blog for over two weeks. I was on a short trip to Italy. Here some impressions. You know already, my favourite is Liguria. I call it "magic Liguria". By the way: the motherland of the focaccia (-:, you know?

Pure chemistry (- :

Indian Summer even in the town...ok, I admit, even if it is caused by carotin reactions, it is something for the heart: The feeling of warmth and pure light, before the cold, grey, rainy season catches us.

Back home

Well, in the end, after one day in the deep magic forest, I enjoyed to ride my car back home, buy some bread rolls and milk and to live my urban life, while it was getting dark, wet and scary in the wood.

Against all pinciples

In the end, I woundered weather what I saw was on earth or far away on e deserted planet. I even forgott to photograph with colour.

Oaktree

As I was told, the getting red of the trees is only chemistry. The carotins of the leave are lasting longer than the green clorophyll.

!Coulours of the season - autum.

Today I was one afternoon in the forest, this is the extract of autumn colours.

The old schoolhouse

In the province time stands still.

Drum and Organ

Yesterday I had a very special experience.Japanese drums in a church. Playing alternating with the organ. Both, drums and organs are very mighty instruments, playing loud and intensevly, making your stomach vibrating. At first, the instruments played "against each other", but in the end, they played together. That was marvelous, just if as hell and heaven were marchíng together. The name of the group playing the drums was WADOKYO, and the organ was played by cantor and organist Jens Peter Enk, a great artist. What a wounderfull evening!

It´s weekend and time to go out... Here an impression of the jazz cellar nearby. Mostly people with white or grey hair were there. Jazz already seems to be music for the retirement home.

The Bach square

The musician Johann Sebastian Bach studdied here from april 1700 until 1702. Nice place to live, isn´t it?

Magic signs

An old middleage town like Lüneburg is full of hidden magic signs. Here: the golden unicorn.

Old Doors

This is a new example of " the doors of Lüneburg". Do you see, what a warm day it was, at the boarder between aurumn and summer?

Old and new

By the way, I have a new hobby: to prepare new Photos as old. That works best in places that really look old. AS here an old marketplace in Lüneburg.

Removal

If you ask, where I was in the last weeks and why there was no input in my blog, here is the answer: I was doing the removal. Not of myself, but of a good friend. Here you see, as the autumn sun played with the stacked furniture in the new room.

Autumn coming

Today was a brilliant day in my town. Sun shining all day. But it was not summer any more. A cold wild was going and the first brown and yellow leaves were to be seen in the fosse of the castle...
